Blue Origin LLC Senior Business Intelligence Engineer in Seattle, Washington

This role is part of Enterprise Technology (ET), where we're developing the digital infrastructure needed to build the road to space, with an emphasis on digital capabilities required to advance Blue Origin's mission. Enterprise Technology is the center of excellence for digital technology at Blue Origin, providing oversight and governance to align technology and business strategies. We are seeking a detail-oriented and data driven Senior Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to join our team within Enterprise Technology. In this role, you will combine critical thinking, problem-solving, and technical expertise to transform raw data into measurable and actionable insights that help us improve our technology and our business. Collaborating with cross functional teams, you will design and maintain advanced data models, generate dashboards, analyze key trends, and provide recommendations that drive measurable improvements. This role requires experience with operations, supply chain, or manufacturing, as our technology is built in service of these domains. This role is central to data-driven decisions and holding our technology accountable to delivering business outcomes. We are looking for someone who not only meets technical qualifications but also exhibits the intellectual curiosity and problem-solving mindset needed to elevate the organization to new levels of performance. Location: Renton, WA preferred Responsibilities include but not limited to: Analyze data to thoroughly understand processes, trends, and opportunities, ensuring all findings are actionable and aligned with business goals Design and implement advanced data visualizations and dashboards that not only present information but actively influence and drive the right behaviors across operational teams Collaborate with business and operations teams to identify pain points, uncover inefficiencies, and develop metrics that promote operational excellence Perform detailed data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability Take a proactive approach to problem-solving, anticipating challenges, and offering innovative, data-driven solutions Communicate findings clearly and effectively, ensuring stakeholders understand the insights and their implications for process improvements Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, or related field 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related role Expertise in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g. Python
