The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are currently seeking a R egional Director of Technical Services based in Seattle, WA  to join our team as a strategic leader in our growing Technical Services Division. 

McKinstry’s Technical Services group has seven go-to-market offerings that are designed to be sold individually or combined in a number of ways to optimize new and existing building infrastructure. We provide highly-valued professional services focused on optimizing energy-consuming systems, asset advisory, and construction related consulting services. These offerings center around the core belief of delivering High Performance Buildings.

As the Regional Director, you will assume a pivotal role in advancing McKinstry’s mission to enhance building efficiency, sustainability, and performance across the Pacific Northwest region.

Leadership : Lead all aspects of our PNW Technical Services team including hiring, management, business development, market strategy, operational delivery, and growth initiatives

C lient S atisfa ction : Closely collaborate with staff and clients to ensure program outcomes are met, including enhanced building performance, operational efficiencies, and building occupant satisfaction.

Performance Optimization: Lead initiatives to improve the performance of our portfolio of buildings focusing on energy efficiency, operational excellence, and sustainability. Implement innovative solutions to drive measurable results.

Partnership Development : Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders, technology providers, and regulatory bodies to remain at the forefront of building performance advancements.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry:

  • Ten(10) – Fifteen(15) years of relevant leadership experience in facility management, business development, and energy efficiency.

  • Excellent Communication skills, team building and executive presence

  • Leadership style focused on empowering people, service, and modeling a culture of inclusivity

  • Proven ability to win new business in a competitive marketplace

  • Experience influencing and fostering a positive company culture

  • Technical degree (desired), Engineering degree (desired) or equivalent work experience.

T he pay range for this position is $157,900 - 240,100 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
