What We DoResponsible for the revenue generation in districts, sales offices, and key accounts within a wide geographic area. . Essential Functions Manages District Managers or Field Sales Managers by facilitating access to resources, participating in sales campaigns, and contributing to sales strategy. May have responsibility for both direct and indirect sales professionals. Does not have direct selling responsibility with a personal quota. May develop new account relationships and expand existing relationships for customers within an assigned territory. Coaches, trains, supports, and consults sales staff in meeting required sales goals. Monitors external and internal customer feedback to measure performance and identify best practices to drive process improvement. Develops, implements, and improves processes through identification of operational, sales, and technological changes that are having an impact on customer satisfaction and contact center efficiency. May recruit and develop sales staff teams, provide developmental feedback to sales staff, and monitor individual and team sales goals with the objective of meeting or exceeding business sales objectives. Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 10+ years of experience in sales and sales management Should possess strong verbal and written communication skills and a well developed background in contact center technology, computer tracking software, and telephony capabilities. Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs work flows and procedures. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
