Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the completion of various projects and programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing project progress. This role involves preparing reports for upper management regarding the status of projects and programs. A bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or a related area are required. The candidate must be familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures in the field, and rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. This position requires a high degree of creativity and latitude, and the ability to lead and direct the work of others. Typically, the Project Manager reports to a manager or head of a unit or department.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of projects and programs.

  • Set deadlines and assign responsibilities.

  • Monitor and summarize the progress of projects and programs.

  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding project/program status.

  • Lead and direct the work of others.

  • Ensure proper installation and focus on automation and material handling equipment.

  • Collaborate with other teams in operational warehouses.

  • Manage communication with third-party vendors.

  • Hold vendors accountable and ensure the highest standards are met.

  • Identify gaps in standards and implement improvements.

  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Travel 100% to work site locations to complete automation installation projects.

Essential Skills

  • Project management experience (3-5 years)

  • Engineering (3-5 years)

  • Experience in vendor management and third-party vendor communication

  • Familiarity with automation and material handling equipment

  • Strong collaborative skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

  • PMP certification

Work Environment

This role requires 100% travel to work site locations. The Project Manager will work with a regional team to complete multiple automation installation projects. The position involves heavy tracking, project management, technology utilization, and communication.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
