*About the Position: *Serves as a supervisor within the Military and International and Interagency Services (IIS) Branch for assigned programs and works directly for the Branch Chief within Planning, Program, and Project Management Division.

Duties

  • Provide technical and administrative oversight of assigned subordinate employees by planning, assigning, and reviewing work of subordinates based on priorities.
  • Monitor overall program execution by measuring program accomplishments and developing methods to improve the effectiveness with which programs are administered.
  • Guide other managers by providing counsel or recommendations regarding funding needs, customer concerns, and procedural requirements.
  • Prepare estimates of funding required and schedule completion.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing work as a project/program manager responsible for oversight and technical work supporting activities directly related to Interagency Facility Projects/Programs (such as Agricultural Research Service, Veteran's Administration, Bureau of Land Management, Forest Service, Park Service) and operations to include managing budgets and schedules. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
