The Finance & Global Business Services (FGBS) PXT Team is looking for a talented and strategic Principal HRBP to drive the HR Strategy in support of Amazon's fast-growing Finance businesses. Key job responsibilities
In this position you will partner with the various senior executives (VPs and Directors) along with their respective leadership teams to develop and execute the HR strategies and planning activities that foster organizational and people effectiveness. This role is both a strategic and hands on role including improving organizational effectiveness, leading change management, providing leadership coaching and driving HR functional excellence. We are seeking an experienced Principal HRBP who can effectively interact with the senior leadership team, possesses excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, and works effectively across multiple key stakeholders.
A day in the life
We are looking for an experienced HR professional with the ability to diagnose problems as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions. The Principal HRBP in this role is also expected to leverage data to set HR priorities and establish mechanisms to drive change. Strong data acumen, analytical and strategic thinking, excellent communication, coaching, and project management skills will be required to be successful in this role. We work in a dynamic environment and move fast! The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable with ambiguity and thrives where there are opportunities to drive improvement and changes.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
10+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner role
Preferred Qualifications
Experience driving organizational change initiatives and developing talent management plans for a global organization
Experience in a tech environment
Strong business and HR acumen
Learning agility and growth mindset
Proven ability to diagnose problems as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions
Strong Project/Program Management Skills
Experience working in a corporate environment
Ability to work well across different functions
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to help leaders navigate a variety of organizational changes
Excellent judgment and effective communication – written, verbal and listening
Commitment to continuous process improvement in people strategies and initiatives
Ability to work independently as well as part of a business and HR team

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $139,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $230,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
