Amazon Marketing Manager-Amazon Kids+, Amazon Kids+ in Seattle, Washington

Description

Amazon Kids+ is a highly rated, much-loved content and controls subscription service for kids 3-12 (and their parents) in the US, Canada, UK, Germany and Japan. Launched more than 10 years ago, an Amazon Kids+ subscription (which includes thousands of ad-free, age-appropriate videos, books, games and apps) is bundled with Amazon’s many child-directed devices, including Echo Kids, Fire Tablet Kids and Kindle Kids. In this role, you’ll lead acquisition of new Amazon Kids+ subscribers among Amazon customers that already own a Kindle e-reader, Fire tablet or Fire TV.

Key job responsibilities

 Develop annual US Amazon Kids+ subscriber acquisition goals and cross-channel marketing plan for upselling an Amazon Kids+ subscription to existing Amazon device owners.

 Develop a strong understanding of the Kindle, Fire Tablet and Fire TV target customer and identify the Amazon Kids+ messaging most likely to resonate.

 Regularly identify new owned & operated channels to leverage for acquisition efforts and develop ongoing experimentation plans to drive new learning.

 Work with Content Marketing to ensure Amazon Kids+ content is regularly being updated and used to attract new subscribers.

 Work with Amazon Kids+ Product Marketing to ensure new features are being fully leveraged for subscriber acquisition.

 Work with Amazon Kids+ Creative to develop assets to support acquisition campaigns and experiments.

 Analyze ongoing campaign results and work with Business Analyst for additional insights and learning.

 Participate in weekly and quarterly business reviews assessing recent results/learning and future plans.

 Ensure relevant Amazon Kids+ messaging used in acquisition for Fire TV, Kindle and Fire Tablet customers is appropriately incorporated into subscription onboarding communications.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs

  • Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $64,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
