As a Market Intelligence Analyst at Group14, you will play a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our battery materials products and solutions. Leveraging your expertise in customer insights, market segmentation, and product marketing,

you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive awareness, generate demand, and accelerate revenue growth for our products.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING :

-Conduct competitive analysis to assess market positioning, pricing strategies, product offerings, and strengths/weaknesses of key competitors, providing insights to inform competitive differentiation and market strategy.

-Leverage market research and analysis to identify target customer segments, market trends, and competitive landscape, leveraging insights to inform product positioning, messaging, and differentiation strategies.

-Monitor regulatory developments, policy changes, and industry standards related to battery materials and energy storage, assessing potential impacts on market dynamics and business opportunities.

-Develop and maintain market models, forecasts, and demand projections for various battery materials products and applications, supporting strategic planning, inventory management, and production scheduling.

-Collaborate with business development, marketing, and product management teams to identify market opportunities, customer segments, and growth areas, providing insights to guide product development and go-to-market strategies.

-Support new product introduction (NPI) processes by conducting market validation studies, analyzing customer needs, and assessing market potential for new product concepts and innovations.

-Prepare and present market intelligence reports, presentations, and dashboards to senior management and key stakeholders, highlighting key findings, recommendations, and actionable insights.

-Work with Marketing to create compelling value propositions, messaging, and marketing collateral for battery materials products, including datasheets, brochures, presentations, website content, and sales tools.

-Collaborate with business development, product management, marketing, and engineering teams to define product launch plans, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to drive product adoption and revenue growth.

-Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and buying behavior related to battery materials and energy storage applications, incorporating customer feedback into product development and marketing strategies.

-Collect and analyze market data, industry reports, and primary/secondary research sources to identify key trends, drivers, and challenges impacting the battery materials and energy storage markets.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR :

-Bachelors degree in marketing, business administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

-Proven experience (3+ years) in market intelligence roles within the battery materials, energy storage, or related industries. Additional product management experience is a strong plus.

-Deep understanding of battery materials, energy storage systems, and related technologies, with knowledge of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

-Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable marketing strategies and plans.

-Proficiency in market research methodologies, data analysis techniques, and statistical tools, with experience in analyzing large datasets and synthesizing insights from multiple sources.

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, draw meaningful conclusions, and communicate insights effectively to diverse audiences.

-Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and findings in a clear and concise manner.

-Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and market intelligence platforms.

-Creative mindset, with a passion for innovation and finding new ways to engage target audiences and drive brand awareness.

-Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

-Team player with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships and influencing cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.

-Bachelors degree in business, economics, market research, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.

-Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables on time and within budget.

-Curiosity, creativity, and a passion for staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments.

The annual base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. All positions come with a company bonus and stock options. The actual base pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.
