Meta Manager, Integrity Operations in Seattle, Washington
Summary:
The Reality Labs Developer Success team plays a critical role in connecting Mixed Reality developers with consumers looking for innovative and immersive experiences. As the popularity of the Meta’s Horizon platform continues to grow, we are seeking individuals with experience setting and meeting ambitious targets to join our team and help scale our Integrity review operations. We are on the lookout for motivated individuals who are adept at conducting complex app reviews & investigations, and strategically improving operations and workflows.We are looking for a leader to manage a team of Integrity Policy Operations Managers. This role involves ensuring timely, high-quality resolution of Integrity issues and developing human review processes. You will provide industry best practice guidance, manage daily operations, and coach the team.As our operations are still developing, we need someone skilled in handling details and ambiguity. You will work with cross-functional partners, including Policy, Legal, Engineering, Product teams in Reality Labs, and central integrity teams, to build cross-functional partnerships. Experience in Integrity/Trust & Safety, app reviews, processes, policies, and analytical and problem-solving skills are required.

Manager, Integrity Operations Responsibilities:
Team Management: Provide strategic guidance and day-to-day management to a team of Policy Operations Managers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to excel in their roles. Foster collaboration, innovation, and high performance within the team, promoting open communication, transparency, and accountability.
Operational Health: Develop and implement effective on-call coverage strategies to ensure seamless support during high-impact weekends and holidays, with a goal of establishing a 24/7 on-call rotation. Collaborate with Moderation Operations and other stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of content review operations.
Provide Trust & Safety/Integrity Expertise: Leverage extensive knowledge and experience in Trust & Safety/Integrity operations to inform team strategy and decision-making, ensuring that policies and procedures are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and threats in online safety and integrity, to drive innovation and improvement in team processes and systems.
Strategic Planning & Vision: Define a clear, ambitious vision for the team, aligning with organizational goals and objectives, and develop actionable long-term roadmaps for achieving it. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators and metrics to measure team success, tracking progress and making adjustments as needed.
Talent Development: Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to help team members develop their skills and advance in their careers, fostering growth and development within the team.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between the team and other teams, representing the team's interests and communicating its needs and concerns to stakeholders. Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including Vendor Operations, Policy, Legal, Product, Engineer, Data, and other teams, to drive collaboration and innovation in addressing complex safety and integrity challenges.
System Ownership: Take ownership of high-scale systems designed to detect and address problematic content, operating creatively and strategically in a complex environment.
Mission Ownership: Own the team's mission and outcomes, working closely with stakeholders to define the team's roadmap and ensure execution. Drive accountability and results within the team, tracking progress against KPIs and making adjustments as needed to achieve team goals.
Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in policy, integrity/trust and safety scaled operations.
Experience managing multiple projects and fluctuating deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Experience partnering with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience documenting complex bugs and the steps to reproduce them.
Experience with industry trends and best practices.

BA/BS degree in a relevant field highly preferred, such as Business Administration, Operations Management, or Computer Science.
Experience in people management, including starting and building a team in an early-stage or developing operation.
Significant experience working in the technology industry, particularly in app review or trust and safety scaled operations, with an understanding of industry trends and best practices.
Experience analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and developing actionable insights using tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python, with problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Developer advocacy skills, with experience helping app developers overcome challenges and providing guidance to help them succeed.
Public Compensation:
$129,000/year to $185,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
