Robert Half Litigation Legal Assistant in Seattle, Washington
Description
A mid-sized, full-service law firm in downtown Seattle is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team. This legal assistant would support multiple attorneys on landlord tenant, evictions, business disputes and other litigation matters.
The salary range for this position is 65-85k DOE. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision with employees' monthly premiums paid 100% by the firm; life and disability insurance; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with 3% match and 18 combined days of paid vacation/days of paid sick leave and 11 paid holidays per calendar year.
Responsibilities -
Maintain calendar and docket of hearings, meetings and other scheduled events
E-file documents with King and Pierce counties
Draft pleadings, correspondence and other legal documents for attorney review, proofread and redline motions, discovery documents and more
Implement advanced time management skills to prioritize tasks appropriately based on urgency
Correspond with clients, courts and other parties with professionalism and accuracy
Maintain and organize client files
Requirements
2+ years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant in Washington State
Experience e-filing with King and Pierce County
Strong document prep, proof reading and editing skills
Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to support multiple attorneys, managing complex calendars and deadlines
Experience using case management software, Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel & Outlook, Adobe and virtual meeting software
