Washington State Job Bank Lead Software Engineer [MR-LSE-BP-008652] in Seattle, Washington

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Lead Software Engineer in Seattle, Washington.  DUTIES: Work within CIB Technology Payments Checkout groups to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market- leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Drive significant business impact utilizing technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to block a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications. Design, develop, and maintain complex distributed systems that can handle high volumes of data and transactions. Develop secure and high-quality cloud native production code, and review and debug code written by others. Provide technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors. Drive decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes. Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus. Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems. Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to drive outcome-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture. Lead architectural meetings, and drive and influence decisions for building high throughput enterprise Applications. REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years (60 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Business Analyst, Engineer Intern, Associate, or related occupation. This position requires experience with the following: Agile SDLC; Docker; Jenkins; Spring; Hibernate; Java; SQL; REST Services; JSON; Kubernetes; Splunk; GIT; Automated Testing; Regression Testing; Smoke Testing; Integration Testing; Unit Testing; PostgresDB; and Distributed Systems.
