The IT Endpoint Administrator will play a critical role in the procurement, deployment, management, maintenance, retirement, and disposal of endpoint devices, ensuring the protection of confidentiality, integrity, availability, and privacy of information processed, stored, and transmitted by those systems. Key Responsibilities Endpoint Procurement Collaborate with our IT team to identify suitable endpoint devices that meet organizational requirements and security standards. Ensure procurement processes adhere to budgetary constraints and compliance regulations. Endpoint Deployment Develop and implement efficient deployment strategies for new endpoint devices, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems. Configure, baseline, and provision endpoints with necessary software, applications, and security measures. Endpoint Management Maintain an inventory of all endpoint devices, including hardware and software configurations, within the ITAM system. Implement and enforce endpoint security policies, including antivirus, encryption, and access controls in partnership with Information Security team members. Monitor endpoint performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support to end-users in partnership with IT Help Desk. Endpoint Maintenance Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patches, and system optimizations utilizing Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platform, while updating the ITAM system accordingly. Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential risks. Endpoint Retirement and Disposal Develop processes for the secure retirement and disposal of endpoint devices, ensuring data sanitization and compliance with regulatory requirements. Update the ITAM system to reflect retired endpoint assets accurately. IT Asset Management (ITAM) System Manage and maintain the ITAM system to track and monitor endpoint devices throughout their lifecycle. Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of all endpoint assets, including procurement details, configurations, and ownership information. Conduct regular audits of the ITAM system to verify asset data integrity and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
