Salesforce Inc. seeks Incident Commander in Seattle, WA:

Job Duties: Be responsible for leading high severity incidents by establishing impact, evaluating resolution scenarios, making decisions based on inputs from Subject Matter Experts, and formulating impact on both technical and business language. Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) calls whenever required. Be responsible for managing and maintaining monitoring of corporate IT infrastructure (servers, storage, applications, network), triaging and performing systems, storage, and network analysis for usage monitoring and capacity trending to ensure service quality, and escalating events as required to Subject Matter Experts for quicker resolution prior to the issue becoming an Incident. Be responsible for gathering continued feedback from internal teams and stakeholders to further enhance our intake processes and service being offered to the business and automating repetitive manual tasks and processes. Assist in onboarding new team members and guide team by handling escalated issues. ˆ Above address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Incident Management (2) Slack Admin (3) Tableau Analytics (4) PagerDuty (5) Linux (6) Python Programming (7) Windows (8) New Relic (9) Splunk and (10) AWS Cloud. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $158,662.00 - $159,662.00 per annum.
