Financial Services Offices Assurance -- FSO Labs - Application Systems Engineer (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1605281), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Seattle, WA.

Integrate emerging technologies to enhance audit service delivery quality and solve business/client challenges through technology. Build user-centered applications, combining business knowledge with technology experience to build automation and analytic solutions with a focus on the financial services industry. Perform full life-cycle software development using agile framework including delivery and integration with other systems and applications in a cloud-based environment. Create software development strategy and establish leading practice approaches based on industry trends, benchmarks and new developments. Oversee and direct the build of complex software products or systems. Drive various stages of the development lifecycle, ensuring application/software architecture is aligned to stakeholder requirements. Create and/or modify application delivery process strategy based on industry trends, experience, leading practices and direction of major players. Establish strategy and business case for the integration of multiple applications. Lead the design of complex integration strategies and plans and the evaluation of complex system integration initiatives and advises on any necessary course corrections. Develop and maintain long-term business relationships and networks.

Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday -- Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am -- 5:30 pm.

*MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: *

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Accounting, Finance or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor's progressive related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Accounting, Finance or a related field, plus 4 years of related work experience.

Must have 3 years of experience in engagement management, engagement reporting and client relationship building.

Must have 2 years of experience directly managing engineering teams of at least 5 engineers with responsibility for career development.

Must have 4 years of experience with: Enterprise integration design patterns, microservices design and development, and middleware platforms including integrations, or application programming interface (API).

Must have 4 years of experience designing API centric solutions using at least one of the following: representational state transfer (REST), DevOps, Postman, or SoapUI.

Must have 4 years of experience developing schemas and data structures.

Must have 4 years of experience in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), including analysis, planning design, development, testing, and deployment.

Must have 4 years of experience converting business requirements into application and software design.

Must have 4 years of experience managing the development lifecycle from configuration to deployment.
