This is a chance to work hard, have fun, and make history.This Finance Manager will own Financial Planning and Analysis (FP.and.amp;A) for the AWS Network Finance team. This role is based in Seattle and works across the AWS Infrastructure Finance organization to drive financial reporting and analysis, lead the planning and close processes, and drive process improvements for Network Finance. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively, manage multiple and time sensitive deliverables, and manage risks and opportunities. The AWS Finance team partners with AWS network engineers, business operations, and others to support the buildout of AWS network infrastructure worldwide.This role's responsibilities include:* Ownership of full range of FP.and.amp;A activities, including finance control and planning for AWS Network Capex, Opex, and Headcount (including month end close processes, quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and long-range planning)* Partner with and proactively communicate FP.and.amp;A timelines and deliverables* Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, including automation and coordination with upstream and downstream partners* Support ad-hoc requests and assist in various requests from key business and finance partnersBasic Qualifications* BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent and a minimum 7 years of finance experience, OR master's degree and 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Amazon is an Equal Opportunity Employer .and.ndash; Minority / Women / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation / Age
