Description
We are offering a temporary employment opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our team. The role involves analyzing and enhancing the efficiency of our financial systems and processes, particularly our Oracle PBCS solution.
The position is fully remote, with the company location based in Seattle, Washington.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed gap analysis to identify areas of improvement in our financial systems
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to manage and present data effectively
• Apply Agile Scrum methodologies to manage projects and tasks
• Understand and document business process functions to ensure alignment with system designs
• Prepare comprehensive Business Requirement Documents to guide system development
• Work on Hyperion Financial Reporting and other financial systems to deliver accurate and timely reports
• Lead system upgrades and implementations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
• Communicate effectively with both IT and business stakeholders, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical teams
• Leverage your understanding of financial systems and accounting principles to guide system design and functionality.
Requirements • Proficiency in Gap Analysis, to identify and bridge operational inefficiencies.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, for data management and documentation.
• Experience with Agile Scrum, to effectively participate in project development cycles.
• Understanding of Business Process Functions, to contribute to process optimization.
• Ability to create and handle Business Requirement Documents, to clearly communicate business needs.
• Familiarity with Hyperion Financial Reporting, to assist in financial data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of Financial Systems, to support financial operations and decision-making.
• Experience with System Upgrades, to ensure the company's technological resources are up-to-date.
• Expertise in System Implementation, to facilitate the successful integration of new systems.
