$10,000 Signing Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine Harborview Medical Center 3WH-Neuro/Tele inpatient unit has an outstanding opportunity for an ASSITANT NURSE MANAGER (REGISTERED NURSE 3/ANM). WORK SCHEDULE • 36 hours per week • Night Shift

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The award winning 45 bed acute care 3WH Neuroscience (Neuro/Tele unit) specializes in the management of acute trauma and acute vascular disease, patients with aneurysms, as well as other neurosurgical problems such as brain tumors and spinal disorders. We also provide expert management of stroke and epilepsy patients.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead clinical practice, education, and management as delegated by and in collaboration with the Nurse Manager and the Assistant Director of Clinical Education. • Promote delivery of quality nursing care • Support staff with orientation, evaluation, clinical problem solving, communication, and collaboration • Support to the unit management team for the assurance of clinical workforce competence

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS • Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of WA • Bachelor’s degree in nursing • Two – three years of professional nursing experience, including demonstrated skill and preference for adult education (preceptor, unit based skills, etc.)
