Job Title: Supply Planner

Job Description:

The Supply Planner plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing supply chain operations to ensure the timely delivery of products and the maintenance of optimal inventory levels. This position involves a comprehensive approach to demand forecasting, supply trend analysis, and coordination with various departments to support efficient supply chain activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Demand Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts to inform production and inventory planning.

  • Inventory Analysis: Analyze inventory levels, sales trends, and market conditions to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory.

  • Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely procurement of materials and adherence to delivery schedules.

  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics teams to plan and execute effective transportation and distribution strategies.

  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive supply planning documentation, including detailed reports and inventory records.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional meetings to support overall supply chain initiatives and align with business objectives.

  • Issue Resolution: Respond to supply and demand inquiries, resolving issues related to inventory and shipments promptly.

Essential Skills:

  • Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Supply Planner or in a similar role within supply chain management.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in supply chain planning software and Excel.

  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • ERP Software: Experience with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to manage supply chain processes.

  • Inventory Management: Knowledge of inventory management techniques and methodologies to optimize stock levels.

  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, contributing to team success.

Work Environment:

This role operates primarily in an office environment with a hybrid work schedule on Mondays and Fridays. The work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The dress code is business casual.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $43.00/hr.
