Company Overview

JOB SUMMARY:The Training Program Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing training programs for our educators and staff members. The position requires a strong background in adult learning concepts, along with proven experience in designing and delivering effective training initiatives by creating, designing, deploying and measuring the impact of employee training programs across the organization. As a key contributor to the business and Human Resources team, this position is responsible for managing key relationships through needs analysis, design, pilot, implementation, and measurement phases of the instructional design work with focus on strategic learning solutions that meet the needs of today while preparing for tomorrow.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Develop and implement training programs tailored to early childhood education professionals, utilizing the organization's Learning Management System (LMS) as the primary platform.2. Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and objectives, ensuring alignment with best practices in early childhood education.3. Create engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, and other multimedia content.4. Deliver training sessions both in-person and virtually, demonstrating strong presentation skills and the ability to adapt content to diverse learning styles.5. Assesses learning and performance needs to craft effective and efficient plans for performance solutions and services that address business-specific requirements and constraints.6. Provide ongoing support to participants, answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering additional resources as needed.7. Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of and applies the latest relevant research and methodologies in instructional design. Employs agile, iterative development methodologies.8. Collaborate with other departments to integrate training initiatives into broader organizational goals and strategies. Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, completion rates, and participant feedback.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Requires the ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Must be in the Phoenix metropolitan area of Arizona.

• In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles, training methodologies, and the ability to design, develop, and deliver effective training programs.• Proficiency in curriculum design and content development for training programs, including e-learning modules.• Familiarity with training software, learning management systems (LMS), and other tools for training content delivery.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey training content to learners.• Ability to assess training program effectiveness and adjust content based on feedback and assessment data.• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced environment.• Strong organizational skills to plan, coordinate, and track training initiatives.• The ability to adapt training programs to meet the needs of a diverse workforce.• Familiarity with multimedia tools and software to create engaging training materials.• Collaboration skills to work with subject matter experts, trainers, and other stakeholders in designing and delivering training.• Must have advanced knowledge of presentation platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.• Must have advanced knowledge of all Microsoft products especially PowerPoint and Word.• Canva is a plus.

Education or equivalency:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in education, Instructional Design, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work.

Experience:

• Prefers prior experience in training and development, instructional design, or a related role, including experience in curriculum design and training program delivery.• Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in early childhood education or related field.

Certification/licensure:

• Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or similar, is a plus.
