(Senior) Business Analyst & BI Project Manager (m/f/d)

Location: Norderstedt (near Hamburg)

You will join the Business Intelligence & Sales Force Effectiveness (BI & SFE) team, overseeing the Business Analytics landscape for MedTech Germany, enabling relevant business insights and data driven decision making across all levels of the organization by managing the existing solutions and leading and executing a range of initiatives to improve the analytics portfolio. You will be closely collaborating with our local BI & SFE Business Partners as well as the regional EMEA Data, Insights and Analytics team, local and regional stakeholders and peers.

This position reports to the BI&SFE Lead MedTech Germany.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the integrated Business Analytics strategy and landscape for MedTech Germany

  • Manage the local analytics portfolio, maintain existing and establish new standard solutions; analyze status quo, identify opportunities for enhancements and lead change management

  • Closely collaborate with business partners and peers in development of tools and resources that enable relevant business insights and data driven decision making across all levels of the organization

  • Join the regional Data, Insights and Analytics community, drive best practice sharing and leverage solutions across EMEA region

  • Lead the implementation, improvement & roll out of analytics solutions and new technologies, partnering with business and IT

  • Assess and optimize existing processes and automation

  • Support BI & SFE Business Partners with analytical framework for ad-hoc reporting needs

  • Participate in strategic projects to improve commercial performance and increase efficiencies

  • Lead initiatives to empower the organization to benefit from data and analytics democratization.

Qualifications

Your Expertise

  • Previous experience in Business Intelligence, Data & Analytics or similar (3 to 5 years minimum)

  • Previous experience in Healthcare industry will be a plus

  • Excellent analytical proficiency and experience analytics tools (PowerBI, DATAIKU, TIBCO Spotfire, SalesForce.com or similar)

  • Ability to understand the market and business issues and translate business requirements to shape and guide IT data and analytics development.

  • Natural curiosity and proactive search for solutions with hands-on mentality, advancing own ideas

  • Excellent collaboration, project & change management skills.

  • Team spirit and ability to work and communicate cross-functionally.

  • Strong and fluent communication skills in German and English
