Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable for appointment on Current Civil Service Eligible List for this title. OR Transfer: Candidates must have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/c status in the posted title and be eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible to transfer via Section 70.1, 70.4, or 52.6 of Civil Service Law. The transfer cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in an advancement of more than two salary grades.

Duties Description This position will perform professional, administrative, and analytical duties to plan, develop, implement and maintain components of OPWDD's Medicaid Compliance Program. · Supervise and oversee Medicaid Compliance Unit staff;· Provide guidance for staff on referral of allegations of fraud, waste, and abuse;· Provide assistance and outreach support to the Medicaid Compliance Liaison field staff;· Facilitate periodic statewide Community of Practice (C.O.P.) meetings and quarterly district meetings;· Review district findings and reports for follow-up review on districts' corrective actions taken;· Lead tracking of district self-disclosures between various Central Office parties and to the NYS Office of Medicaid Inspector General;· Recommend and assist with developing policies, procedures and training materials that promote compliance and efficiencies for state operations across the organization.· Review new or updated guidance from oversight agencies on areas relating to compliance program operation.· Assist with ongoing and annual review of the Medicaid Compliance Program operation. · Assist with, oversee or conduct special projects, as assigned.· Travel may be required.
