Water Treatment Operatorto join our team at our state-of-the-art facility in

Savannah, GA. If youve got the energy, the enthusiasm, and the drive to take ownership of a critical role in our Water Treatment department, we want to hear from you!

The Role: Water Treatment Operator

Department: Water Treatment

Reports To: Water Treatment Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

As a

Water Treatment Operator, youll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Water Treatment Plant. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating Treatment Facilitiesto control the flow and processing of water.
• Diagnosing and Troubleshootingoperational problems and taking swift corrective action.
• Monitoring Equipment Performance: Checking gauges, meters, and charts to ensure everythings running smoothly.
• Recording and Reporting: Collecting data, analyzing lab test results, and writing reports to help us stay ahead of the game.
• Sampling and Analysis: Collecting water and wastewater samples, interpreting lab results, and ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Adjusting Systems: Operating valves, pumps, engines, and generators to adjust flow and processes as needed.
• Team Collaboration: Establishing strong, cooperative relationships with your team and other departments to maintain smooth operations.
• Special Projects: Taking on additional projects or tasks as assignedbecause no two days are the same!

What You Bring to the Table:

• Education: A High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience and Skills:
  • Experience in wastewater treatment is preferred.
  • Ability to work with a variety of lab equipment, pumps, generators, and gauges.
  • Comfortable performing calculations and analysis to ensure accurate water treatment processes.
• Physical Demands: This role requires moderate physical activity typical of jobs in similar environments, including working with equipment and performing occasional lifting.
• Work Environment: Youll be exposed to outdoor conditions, mechanical parts, and various chemicals, so safety is key! The noise level in the work environment can be loud, especially near processing equipment.
