Pay Rate :
$89,000-$118,600
Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.
Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s short-term incentive plan.

Summary:
The Savannah Mill is currently seeking a PS&DOMC who is responsible for prioritizing work, managing backlogs, and coordination of scheduled shutdowns and the maintenance activities required for ensuring the reliability of the operating department. The primary focus of the OMC is in the daily to one-year time-frame.
The Job You Will Perform:
Including, but not limited to:
Provide strong safety leadership and promote a safe work environment. Lead area safety notification backlog. Be involved in department safety team. Complete safety auditing to ensure internal and external resources are complying with safe work practices and permitting requirements.
Administration and coordination of lock outs.
Ensure the health of environmental control systems and equipment. Prioritize work and implement systems to sustain compliance.
Lead the FBU MWS team and drive effective, efficient maintenance execution for the department. Conduct daily and weekly scheduling meetings as outlined in the workflow process. Deliver quality or better pacesetter level effectiveness from the MWS team.
Work with department operations and maintenance managers to prioritize maintenance work and communicate needs back through MWS organization. Follow up on work being performed to ensure proper, efficient execution and completion.
Organize and provide support for outage management during weekly/annual outages. Coordinate multiple contractors as required. Support the maintenance planner in detailed planning for daily, weekly and shutdown process.
Participate and/or lead reliability improvement initiatives for the area.
Utilize the management of change (MOC) process appropriately
Ensure operations basic care routes are implemented and maintained weekly/quarterly/annually.
Ensure proper financial controls and monitoring of spending. Communicate effectively with department managers on spending/budget performance and checkbook status.
The Skills You Will Bring:
At least 2 years manufacturing experience is required, with PS&D or machine experience and FLL management experience preferred.
Experience in maintenance or maintenance planning a plus, as is a solid working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Project.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, and be able to function effectively in Microsoft Office.
Work independently
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build trust, respect and teamwork with a wide variety of hourly and salaried personnel.
