The Customer Account Specialist deals with customer invoice balancing and reconciliation, financial transaction reconciliation (checks and electronic), completes deposits, validates alcohol licenses, keys credits, and keys pricing updates, while also helping sales and delivery associates with any needs they may have pertaining to customers and deliveries.  In addition to these roles, the customer service representative may fulfill some office duties.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • High school or vocational school diploma or GED equivalent required

    Responsibilities

  • Balance load sheets by verifying accuracy of inventory, matching payments to invoices, and verifying driver entries

  • Manage FINTECH, ESCROW, iCONTROL, GXS, and charge payments

  • Scan and process customer checks

  • Handle returned checks

  • Set up new customers and update customer licenses

  • Apply credits to customer’s accounts

  • Investigate pricing issues and make corrections

  • Bill leaker credit tickets

  • Bill sample, glassware, and beer cart requests

  • Fulfill mail room duties

  • File customer and supplier invoices as required

  • Occasional billing of sales orders

  • Order office supplies and maintain spreadsheets of inventory

  • Update pricing lists as assigned

  • Answer phone calls from customers, sales associates, delivery associates and provide support

  • Provide back-up for department co-workers as needed
