Purpose of Position:

We  seek a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic IT team as a "System Analyst I." In this role, you will assume a crucial responsibility by overseeing and troubleshooting issues related to MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and developing procedures and programs to ensure the Assembly Line continuously runs our Automotive Manufacturing plant in HMGMA Savannah, GA.

  Your primary focus will involve implementing, maintaining, and optimizing a company's MES software and processes within a manufacturing environment.

  Overall, the role of an MES System Analyst I is critical in ensuring the successful utilization of Manufacturing Execution Systems to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and contribute to the overall success of a manufacturing organization. As the level of expertise and experience grows, the responsibilities and scope of the role may expand to include more complex tasks and strategic decision-making.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop software to assist with the monitoring of shops.

  • Develop software to add or enhance functionality with current MES systems.

  • Install hardware and software.

  • Maintain and install equipment and configurations for the MES network.

  • Develop and maintain secondary software for environmental data gathering and  Assembly repair reports.

  • Perform purchasing duties for hardware, software, and services to complete tasks/projects.

  • Maintain assigned systems within MES.

  • Ensure that systems are running smoothly.

  • Troubleshoot root causes of system issues.

  • Install hardware and software for enhancements to existing systems.

  • Generate ideas for system improvement.

  • Run reports for customers for data in assigned systems.

  • Create procedures and documentation for the MES.

    -  Train MES Technicians and Users.

  • Communicate with Clients to meet the organization's needs.

  • The System Analyst is responsible for system accuracy and stability during production.

    Required Skills & Education:

    Education:  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

    Related Work Experience (Yrs.):  Minimum 2+ years’ experience in the IT field.

    Skills/Knowledge:

  • Ability to support 24 X 7 support.

  • Ability to work overtime.

  • Certifications Preferred: A+, Microsoft Certifications (MCPD, MCITP, MCTS)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Excellent Analytical Skills and problem-solving skills

  • Good documentation skills Software: C++, ASP.NET, C#

  • Database/OS: Oracle Application Server (Windows and Linux), ORACLE 11g, SQL server knowledge

  • Basic to intermediate proficiency programming in C#, ASP.net, HTML5 and WinForms

  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in performing coding utilizing C#, ASP.net, HTML5, and Win forms.

  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in writing PL/SQL statements for Oracle and SQL DB.

    • Basic to intermediate proficiency in coding/debugging GMES Applications
  • Basic to intermediate Analytical skills and problem-solving skills

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Basic knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logical Controller)

  • Basic business process understanding related to MES.

  • Primary SME (Subject Matter Expert) to the assigned shop ,

    • Certifications (Required/Preferred):
  • Any Certifications related to MES are a plus.

Salary Range:  $57,350 - $82,000
