Job description Independent Living Services of Central Minnesota was created to help provide individuals with physical and developmental disabilities, as well as mental illness, to thrive in their own homes. The In Home Support staff work 1:1 with individuals to teach and assist with individualized goals. Schedule: Monday-Friday part time with the potential for full time, days and times somewhat flexible, potential for weekends. Job duties to include: Skills required to be successful in this position: meal prep, grocery shopping, household management, budgeting, paperwork, assistance managing appointments, companionship, getting into the community, connecting with community resources. Excellent communication skills Ability to maintain professional boundaries Timely and thorough completion of documentation Ability to identify client needs Knowledge of the community and community resources
