Insight Global Custodial Superintendent in Sarasota, Florida
Job Description
Insight Globals client seeks an experienced Custodial Superintendent to join their on-site team in Sarasota, Florida. In this pivotal role, youll lead a team of 3 employees (potentially expanding to 5) during the weekday day shift. Your responsibilities will encompass reporting, work order review, email correspondence with colleagues and departments, and oversight of employee payroll. Additionally, youll navigate the expansive 110-acre campus using an industrial golf cart provided exclusively for on-campus use during work hours.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team leadership and commercial/floor care cleaning. While the primary focus is on management (75%), there will be a hands-on cleaning component (25%). As the team grows with the addition of two more custodial workers, the cleaning aspect may decrease. Expect to engage in projects such as buffing and waxing floors after construction staff completes their work. Your ability to lead, ensure task completion, move efficiently between departments using The Gator (campuses industrial golf cart), and maintain accurate computer-based records are essential competencies for success.

Skills and Requirements
-5+ years of experience in a commercial/institutional cleaning environment
-Experience of 2+ years supervising/managing a staff of 5+ individuals
-Knowledge of utilizing a computer (Microsoft 365) to complete reporting, reviewing payroll/approving payroll, etc.
-Comfortable with project work and being hands-on 25% of the time
-Good communication skills
-Must be proficient in English
-Valid drivers license -Bilingual fluent in Spanish null
