We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in Tableau to join our dynamic team on a short-term basis (possible extension).
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, including the ability to recommend the best visualizations based on the data being displayed
Utilize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various databases and sources.
Identify data discrepancies, anomalies, and inconsistencies through thorough data analysis.
Understanding best practices of formatting, source data to be consumed by Tableau
Investigate root causes of data issues and propose solutions to address them effectively.
Participate in data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making processes.
Develop interactive, complex, and dynamic dashboards, workbooks, and reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst in a technical environment.
Experience with Data Visualization platforms such as Tableau
Understanding of complex data structures, data analytics and statistics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
