GENERAL DESCRIPTION OR PURPOSE OF JOB:
Systems and Process Super User with the ability to operate and use existing solutions, use systems(s) to transact business processes. The first line of user support for training and issue resolution at SPI. Learn the abilities necessary to analyze business issues and propose possible resolutions. Document processes, define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures, test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process.
RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Work with the different business areas at SPI to provide production support and resolutions for issues in core applications. Some examples are order entry, customer service applications, pricing, products and specifications, warehousing, shipping, etc. This should be achieved by gaining a strong understanding of existing systems/processes and how the business works at SPI.
Identify issues and areas that may need improvement. Determine needs, gather business requirements. Work with IT and the business towards developing either process or technical solutions. Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance.
Analyze issues and propose solutions to the business and Neff IT Group for further discussion.
Define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures and develop test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process.
Coordination of trainings and creation of documentation for processes when needed at SPI
Required:
Prior Business Analyst in a manufacturing environment
Able to work independently or with others to analyze issues/new requests and document business requirements
An understanding of data and databases
Proficient in creating processes flows, data flow documentation, test procedures, test cases
Prior knowledge of programming concepts
Facilitating Meetings
Experience with SQL
Preferred:
- AS/400 knowledge would be value added
CONTACTS AND COMMUNICATIONS: Internal: Filed Sales Representatives, Customer Service Representatives, Supervisor and co-workers
External: Substantial customer contact
