Description
A construction company in Santa Monica is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join the team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is a hybrid position, and you will report to Santa Monica 2-4 days per week. The ideal HR Generalist will have 2-3 years of HR experience in the areas of recruitment, benefits administration, and employee relations. Additional responsibilities include:
Full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, screening, and candidate feedback.
Benefits administration and open enrollment support.
Employee relations guidance and conflict resolution.
Collaborate with senior HR and business partners.
Maintain accurate HR records and compliance.
Great with managing data and tech savvy.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and HRIS (preferably BambooHR).
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to adapt to a hybrid work environment.
Once full-time, the position will pay between 70-75k, based on experience.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience as an HR Generalist
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Experience with Ceridian and HRMS software
• Knowledge of About Time software is a plus
• Expertise in Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration
• Strong understanding of Compliance requirements in HR
• Proven track record in Employee Relations management
• Experience in Talent Acquisition and Full Cycle Recruiting
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
