As a result of our continued growth Anaplan is hiring an ENTERPRISE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - Educational Institutions (K-12 to Higher) . This opportunity requires a proven track record of selling sophisticated technological solutions into complex environments and developing a footprint across Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Human Resources. The Enterprise Account Executive navigates sector leaders through how our connected planning platform is ending siloed decision making.
Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President, the Enterprise Account Executive may have up to 50 accounts defined by sector and geography, most of which are greenfield but might also include existing Anaplan customers.
Engage with targeted customers to identify business processes in need of digital transformation
Effectively present to key decision makers including CFOs, CROs, and senior leaders our transformative value
Develop opportunities by cross-selling and up-selling
Navigate the customer through the journey of becoming the next version of themselves
Apply value-based selling methodology and tools to accurately forecast revenue
Report to Sales Management an accurate sales pipeline
Work cross-functionally with other members of the Sales effort including Sales Development Representatives, Marketing, Solution Consultants, and Customer Success
Continuously self-educate on the Anaplan platform, using the Anaplan Academy Learning Center and related company resources
Consistent consultative selling of SaaS (solutions) into the highest levels of management in Educational Institutions (K-12 to Higher)
Consistent achievement of sales quota & targets, including having closed six-figure Annual Contract Value deals
Developed a functional network by sector and territory which includes customers, implementation partners, internal teams, etc...
Developed domain (Supply Chain, FP&A, Workforce Planning & Sales) understanding, specifically how they plan, function and course correct
Demonstrated ability to balance multiple opportunities using management practices (e.g. sales process, qualification, executive presentation skills, quote presentation and negotiation) simultaneously
BS/BA in Business, Finance, Economics or other relevant degree
Software Platform experience with SFDC, Altify, Marketo or Engagio
Account Planning experience with MEDDPICC or Miller Heiman
