Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist I under the general direction of a radiologist and Radiology Administration is responsible for performing a variety of radiographic fluoroscopic emergency and specialized procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Provides Radiology services to all ages.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of radiologic technology training in an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved school
Completion of California State Certification requirements (C.R.T.)
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.)
Completion of California State Fluoroscopy permit (FLURO)
Current American Heart Association BLS certification
This position requires skills in Diagnostic Radiology, Surgery (c-arm) and Fluoroscopy procedures
Must meet all Radiologic Technology I competencies
Understanding of sterile techniques.
Ability to follow protocols. Ability to develop successful relationships with patients, physicians, management and coworkers
Can identify areas of concern and take accurate images
Ability to discern emergent situations
Preferred Qualifications:
AS in Radiologic Sciences
One (1) to two (2) years’ experience as a radiologic technologist
Pay Range
$57.44 - $64.65 /hour
