Nvidia Senior MDM Business Solution Architect – Sales and Operations Planning and Execution in Santa Clara, California

What you’ll be doing:

  • As a business solution architect (BSA) for master data management (MDM) & data quality management (DQM) focused on end-to-end Sales & Operations planning & execution processes (S&OP & S&OE), you will play a critical role in enabling data architecture and governance to help drive standardized and sustainable enterprise data footprint.

  • Define unified data strategy that aligns with business goals and lays foundation for business process digital transformation.

  • Assess and document the end-to-end data flow for S&OP/ S&OE processes, including product, customer, supplier master data and the derived master data elements. Partner with business to define data taxonomy, policy, catalog, lineage and challenge the status quo. Identify data stewards and establish cross functional user councils to define and drive KPI’s to measure data quality and integrity. Build an enterprise data governance model to drive timely and effective business decision making and achieving operational excellence.

  • Perform data audits and report data quality metrics as part of data governance reviews.

  • Design and implement tools to accelerate data architecture and workflows to support evolving business processes and needs.

  • Support process improvements for SAP/ Non-SAP enterprise data changes by collaborating with business and technical teams. Support user acceptance testing for PLM, MDG/SAP, CRM (SFDC) enhancements and collaborate with development teams for timely issue resolution.

  • Support innovation and automation in MDM & DQM by collaborating with business intelligence, machine learning and artificial intelligence teams.

  • Influence C-level, VP level executives, business owners and IT partners to align on process transformation, data governance and data strategy to support company growth.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering/ supply chain management is required or equivalent experience. Advanced degree or relevant certification is desired in data domain (data engineer preferred), S&OP & S&OE (APICS certification preferred).

  • 12+ years of demonstrable experience as enterprise data governance and MDM functional SME or similar role, with focus in S&OP/ S&OE domain (hands-on experience in SAP IBP/ Kinaxis or any other leading planning solution is preferred)

  • Partner with functional, technical architecture and development teams for seamlessly implementing the MDM & DQM processes and solutions.

  • Experience working in SAP & Non-SAP applications and understanding of cross functional business processes in planning (strategic planning, customer forecast collaboration, demand planning, inventory planning, rough-cut capacity planning, supply planning, supplier collaboration, responsive demand supply matching, allocation management, order confirmation etc.) and planning master data elements and their inter dependency with finance, sales, purchasing, marketing, operations and engineering processes etc.

  • Experience in working with business to transform processes, establishing data policy & governance, and implementing enterprise level solution with experience in MDM & DQM processes and tools (hands-on experience in SAP MDG/ Informatica/ Collibra is preferred). Familiarity with industry standard processes and regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners at all levels.

  • Analytical demeanor with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

The base salary range is 160,000 USD - 310,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
