Nvidia Director of Business Operations in Santa Clara, California

We are looking for a Director of Business Operations supporting data center products. This position requires cross functional leadership role across business unit, product management, engineering, operations, sales, and finance. You will work with all levels of the organization, from engineering and product teams to ensure the roadmap is scalable for growth, to operations and finance teams to secure our supply base years ahead. Our team manages tactical build plans to support our financial forecasts and works across organizations to optimize for improved financial performance. What You'll Be Doing:

  • The Director of Business Operations provides leadership in planning, due diligence in implementing sound strategies to achieve business objectives and drives efficient operation of the data center business.

  • Support the monthly forecasting process working with the Sales teams and the Business Units and provide insight and mentorship on what can be improved and optimized.

  • Present to executive team on regular cadence, identify gaps and opportunities to optimize across the company.

  • Integrally involved in product planning, launch planning, demand planning, build planning, capacity planning, and inventory management from conception through EOL.

  • Identifies and advocates for tools and process improvements that can improve operational transparency and efficiency.

  • Identifies risks and problems in timely manner and drives resolution with speed and agility.

  • Capture and synthesize relevant data, lead analyses, and develop final recommendations around strategic and operational initiatives.

  • Reports on inventory levels, inventory health, supply chain progress, and other key business metrics.

What We Need To See:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent experience

  • 15+ years of experience with products including chips, boards and systems. Business knowledge of chip, board and systems engineering development cycles.

  • Proven experience in operations management, supply chain management, product management, or equivalent.

  • 12+ years direct people management experience and demonstrated successful communications skills at executive level.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization.

  • Demonstrated excellence in leadership roles and business judgment.

  • Track record of successfully leading sophisticated projects.

  • Proven self-initiative, interpersonal skills, and flexibility to adapt to change.

The base salary range is 264,000 USD - 408,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
