Job Summary

The Levy team is hiring Concessions Technology and Operations Interns to support the development of the mobile ordering and Member Inclusive Menu (MIM) experience during San Francisco 49ers games and major events held at Levi's® Stadium. You will work alongside Guest Service Representatives, Levy Restaurants staff, and E15 group to deliver the best customer experience for guests using the mobile app to order food & beverage.

As a Concessions Technology and Operations Intern, you will help with the development and user experience of mobile ordering at Levi’s Stadium through collecting feedback, suggesting improvements, and educating/assisting fans. Prior to event days, you will help troubleshoot concession technology including point-of-sales and by preparing the concourse for event days. On event days, you are the face of Levi's® Stadium's mobile ordering and concessions experience. Guests will look to you to take concessions orders in the lines and for information, education, and troubleshooting of the 49ers mobile app.

With your customer service savvy and empathetic personality, you will be a critical part of the guest experience revolution and contribute to the success of the mobile ordering experience - integrating cutting-edge technology into the next generation sports venue.

Long Description

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide suggestions and improvements on mobile app experience

  • Be a subject matter expert on mobile app functionality (ticketing login, ordering food & beverage, managing wallet, etc.)

  • Troubleshoot concessions point-of-sale technology

  • Assist in preparing the concourse prior to events (i.e. creating concession stand line queues/stanchioning, preparing stanchion and counter toppers and signage, checking menu boards, etc.)

  • Provide public assistance with venue Mobile App

  • Deliver upon the Levi’s Stadium’s Core Values, Common Purpose, and Service Promise

  • Greet guests and assist with mobile ordering and ticketing

  • Greet, assist, and communicate with guests in a friendly and professional manner

  • Work cooperatively with all team members across all departments

  • Be alert for safety issues and opportunities to make positive lasting memories for all of our guests

  • Provide feedback of stadium technology based on personal experiences and guest interactions

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • At a minimum, you must be available for in person training sessions in July/August (dates to be determined)

  • Work most, if not all, 49er home games at Levi’s Stadium for 8-10 hours. Attendance to 80% of home games preferred.

  • Additional dates may be required as needed.

  • Strong knowledge of smartphone functionality (both Android and iOS)

  • Ability to maintain composure and customer focus while troubleshooting and solving technical issues

  • Excellent people skills and a knack for problem solving

  • A service-oriented approach in all interactions with guests, corporate partners, and fellow team members

  • Strong technical proficiency and enthusiasm for cutting-edge mobile technology

  • Work well as part of a large team in a fast-paced environment

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
