Responsibilities

  • May communicate with leadership on matters of significant importance such as business transactions, liability claims, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations to protect the client's reputation and business interests.

  • Leads the development of functional legal strategies to provide individual and business units with current legal advice.

  • Responsible for making improvements to processes to ensure that the organization's interests are protected.

  • May work to influence external parties at an operational level and may represent the department in legal matters.

Requirements

  • University Degree.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working on the legal department or international company or law firm.

  • Advanced English (Conversational).

  • Microsoft Office (Excel).

  • Responsible for the development of functional legal strategies for the Legal Department.

  • Communicates with parties within and outside of your own team to explain policies and procedures, including litigation and practice in business, government, labor, and environmental fields.

  • Provide support in insurance recovery in claims processes.

  • Provide technical support for Team Connect administration. (Payment management, service invoices).

  • Able to provide training to internal legal clients. (Administrative and labor).

  • Support with legal advice to individuals and business units in relation to the legal rights, obligations and privileges of corporations to ensure that corporate interests are well represented.
