Electrical Engineer

Want to live and work in beautiful southern Utah close to recreational opportunities? Prefer remote? As an Electrical Engineer and specializing in power distribution, are you ready to oversee and direct a project for a manufacturing company? Company products are primarily switchgears, and have been designing/installing them nationally for 20+ years. Will consider candidates open to relocation to southern Utah or remote.

Currently seeking an Electrical Engineer with design experience to join the team. Looking for a candidate who has experience designing and evaluating power distribution models, specifically switchgear. Designing and tracking projects from customer specs to finished builds. Evaluating team members' work and troubleshooting any design incongruities that arise. Follow up with customers to accommodate design adjustments, communicate changes in manufacturing and deadlines. Project Management a plus.

Responsibilities:

Design and track projects from customer specifications to finished builds.

Evaluate team members' work and troubleshooting any design incongruities that arise.

Coordinate with production team to monitor build.

Communicate with clients to accommodate design adjustments, communicate changes in manufacturing and deadlines

Report job status and changes in weekly production meetings.

Submit Drawings, Bill of Material and Wiring Diagrams for customer approval.

Resolving material exceptions that arise

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of designing specific to manufacturing, power distribution manufacturing experience preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Discipline)

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Experience with Excel, databases, and other software applications

Excellent communication skills written and verbal for effective Client communication

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision

Ability to handle time-sensitive data and meet deadlines. 

Project Management a plus.
