Are you a seasoned IT auditor with a penchant for precision and a passion for the manufacturing industry? Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is on the hunt for a talented Senior IT SOX Auditor to join their dynamic team.
About the Role:
As a Senior IT SOX Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations pertaining to information technology. You will be responsible for evaluating internal controls, assessing risks, and providing valuable insights to enhance the organization's IT governance framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive IT audits in alignment with SOX requirements.
Evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement audit strategies.
Prepare audit reports highlighting findings and recommendations.
Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT audit, with a focus on SOX compliance.
Previous experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and IT systems.
Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CIA are advantageous.
