GENERAL FABRICATIONS CORPORATION Welder Fabricator in Sandusky, Ohio
*POSITION: *Welder/Fabricator
*REPORTS TO: *Fabrication Supervisor
We are seeking full-time Metal Fabricators to work in our Sandusky, Ohio fabrication facility and install equipment on the road. This role requires performing a variety of welding and fabrication capabilities:
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate finished metal products
- MIG/TIG/Stick welding, operate hand tools and fabrication equipment
- Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
- Working with Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminized and Galvanized
- Plumbing (steel and plastic)
- Ability to adapt to various other aspects in the shop
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in welding
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
- Familiarity with reading engineering blueprints and schematics a plus not a requirement
- Ability to handle physical workload
- High School Diploma Required
Travel required. Per-diem provided while traveling.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
