Functioning as a Behavior Specialist, you'll manage a caseload of up to7 clients on-site providing comprehensive services and therapeutic behavioral techniques to children and adolescents with mental/behavioral diagnoses. You will provide direct behavioral educational services to the client using a variety of evidenced-based psycho-educational techniques. The Specialist will be able to effectively collaborate and coordinate with other client involved service providers and professionals such as school personnel, attorneys, social workers, and probation officers. The Behavior Specialist will connect the family to wrap around services as needed to include but not limited to; health services, recreational activities, child care services, financial resources, employment resources, transportation resources, support groups, and other therapeutic services;attend court hearings pertaining to the client and provide a written or oral report to the court and other officials deemed eligible for the report. Moreover, the qualified applicant will be able to utilize the clinical supervisor as an initial point of contact for strengthening their effectiveness in providing behavioral interventions to the client, and prepare a written discharge plan and (at the time of discharge) prepare a written discharge summary and provide assistance with after-care services.
