Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a capable and efficient Payroll Specialist to manage our company's payroll system, ensuring prompt and accurate compensation for our employees. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical aptitude, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively.
Responsibilities:
Collection and verification of timekeeping records for all employees, including details about absences, leaves, and overtime.
Administration of payroll procedures; ensuring the payroll process aligns with legal and company policies.
Calculation and distribution of compensation, including salaries, benefits, and bonuses, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions.
Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.
Prepare reports detailing payroll expenditures, including items such as taxes and deductions.
Stay updated on the latest labor legislation and any changes in employee insurance and tax contributions.
Coordinate with HR and Accounting departments as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a payroll specialist or similar role in the HR or accounting field.
Knowledge of general accounting principles and payroll software (experience with specific software may be required).
Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes.
Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
Excellent time-management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Good understanding of labor legislation.
High level of confidentiality.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
