Ethos Veterinary Health Client Care Specialist in San Marcos, California

Full Time Position

4 days per week, 10 hours per day

Veterinary Specialty Hospital (VSH) is looking full-time Client Care Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

Client Care Specialists are the welcoming face to our business, providing front-line customer support. This team uses positivity, teamwork, and empathy to deliver exceptional customer service. Stationed at the front desk, our Client Care Specialists are the central 'hub' of the veterinary hospital, ensuring elevated client experiences, while preparing our medical team for success with their patient!

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Welcome our clients in a friendly, helpful, and compassionate manner in-person and over the phone.

  • Educate and advise pet owners in need of services we offer.

  • Prepare and review documents and medical records prior to patient appointments.

  • Process emergency check-ins promptly and efficiently, schedule and check-in regular appointments and tend to all client requests while ensuring the highest quality of care and satisfaction for our clients at all times.

  • Answer multiple phone lines in a prompt and professional manner, direct calls, fax and scan.

  • Process admissions and discharges accurately; schedule follow-up appointments as necessary.

  • Process invoices and payments.

  • Update and maintain client/pet records and files in accordance with Veterinary Specialty Hospital legal requirements.

  • Assist with other administrative duties such as scanning, faxing, emailing, for example

  • Ensure cleanliness of the lobby, entrance and store front.

    About You:

  • You have a demonstrated history in, and enjoy, customer service roles.

  • People successful in the role have experience in hotels/hospitality, retail/customer service, food service, etc.

  • Enjoy working in a fast passed, energetic work environment.

  • Values teamwork, communication, collaboration, and fun!

  • Basic knowledge of Windows-based computer programs.

  • Proven effective communication and the ability to multitask and prioritize.
