TEKsystems Sap Administrator in San Jose, California

Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator with extensive expertise in technical planning, installations, configurations, and system migrations for SAP environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with S/4HANA implementations, performance optimization, and disaster recovery planning. This role requires strong SQL scripting skills and the ability to manage and troubleshoot complex SAP landscapes.

Responsibilities:

  • SAP Basis Tasks: Technical planning, installations, configurations, upgrades, OS/DB migrations, and Unicode conversions.

  • Performance Optimization: SQL scripting, performance tuning, and system integration.

  • System Management: Backup and recovery, system refresh tasks, client copies, and transport management.

  • Automation and Incident Management: Automating SAP Basis tasks, troubleshooting issues, and providing root cause analysis.

  • Documentation and Support: Writing operational procedures, creating Adobe standard documentation, and providing on-call support.
