Applied Signal Technology (AST) is seeking a Material Expeditor/Delivery Assurance Specialist I to join our Supply Chain department . The Material Expeditor is an administrative function in support of U.S. Government and commercial domestic contracts utilizing strong written and verbal skills.
What you will do:
You will ensure incoming material meets the required due dates and effectively and proactively communicate with Buyers and requestors to update delivery dates, monitor supplier performance and coordinate invoice and receiving discrepancy resolution.
You will be responsible for monitoring open commitments and updating reports for management and others on current status.
You will be responsible for purchasing of low dollar commodities and processing change order and assisting Buyers.
You will assist Supply Chain management in the running of reports on overall trends, achievement to KPI and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications you must have:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
Basic understanding of the Supply Chain function and processes
Proficient in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Ability to multi-task

The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 118,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
