Zoom Machine Learning Engineer 3 in San Jose, California
Job Description:
Collaborate effectively with other engineers on projects. Integrate and support the Machine Learning (ML)
services with product and operations teams. Build and deploy machine learning models for customer use cases with some level of supervision. Research state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms to advance Zoom’s product. Take ML models from research all the way to production. Mentor junior engineers within the team on their varied research/engineering tasks.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computational and Mathematical Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent. Must have 2 years of experience in job offered or related occupation. Must have 2 years of experience in coding in Python; at least one or more of the following: Natural Language Understanding, Natural Language Generation, Intent detection, topic modeling and segmentation, training/fine tuning large language models, transformer; Machine Learning toolkits such as (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spacy, etc.); distributed training and performance optimization on GPUs; working on multi-modal ML; large-scale data processing and distributed systems; and Microservice, Docker, Kubernetes, REST API, AWS. Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$185,000.00
Maximum:
$244,500.00
In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
