As a receptionist, you will enthusiastically welcome guests, anticipate their needs, and assist with arrivals, departures, and office orientations. You will engage visitors, employees, and callers in a manner that makes them feel warmly welcomed and assisted promptly. Your role will require demonstrating confidence, professionalism, responsiveness, and exceptional customer service skills. You will serve as a central point of contact, providing information and wayfinding for campus services and activities.
Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain the front desk, lobby, and common areas to ensure an environment that is safe, clean, organized, and reflects brand standards.
Execute the badging process for employees, visitors, and third-party providers.
Process mail, both incoming and outgoing, along with other deliveries.
Implement and monitor standards of service to meet and exceed expectations.
Connect with clients, customers, and support teams to proactively anticipate needs, identify issues, and deliver creative solutions.
Collaborate with all services within the facility and work with facilities management to ensure a safe and comfortable work environment.
Work across teams to proactively communicate and prepare for meetings and events to anticipate and address concerns and ensure operations without incident.
Create work orders for custodial maintenance, safety, and security concerns through appropriate channels/systems.
Identify potential risks and escalate appropriately to prevent privacy breaches, security incidents, or disruptions.
Perform ad hoc assignments and provide administrative support for seamless and timely delivery of services.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook
Receptionist and secretarial skills
Interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
10+ years of relevant experience
Experience in the facilities industry is beneficial
Verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
Ability to keep information organized and confidential
Previous experience with computer applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Work Environment
This position is onsite, requiring you to be familiar with all services within the facility and work closely with facilities management to facilitate a hospitality approach across services.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
