Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage personnel, contractors, and equipment for efficient levee stockpiling. You will be responsible for directing the production of job sites to ensure comprehensive levee maintenance and reinforce levees with imported soil.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage personnel, contractors, and machinery equipment for efficient levee stockpiling.
Direct the production of job sites to ensure comprehensive levee maintenance and reinforce levees with imported soil.
Define and implement effective working methods for the construction project.
Organize the preparation of new zones, including planning and coordination.
Manage personnel aspects, including absences, assignments, and overall team organization.
Foster effective relationships with various internal and external departments.
Handle fault management with the Workshop, ensuring swift resolution.
Monitor machinery fleet, ensuring optimal performance and maintenance.
Transmit instructions to teams and verify their application in day-to-day operations.
Manage Personal Protective Equipment, ensuring proper usage across the project.
Follow up on the progress of model realization and establish comprehensive reports.
Efficiently handle orders and execute requests for expenditure commitments.
Verify staff's mastery of safety and quality guidelines, promoting a secure working environment.
Proactively manage site hazards, including personnel safety, weather conditions, and incidents or accidents.
Ensure strict compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards applicable to the construction sites.
Essential Skills
Ability to process RFIs, submittals, and change orders related to groundwater or levee projects.
Experience overseeing and directing construction personnel, contractors, engineers, public entities, and end clients.
Relative work experience in soil management, such as groundwater projects.
Safety certificate and safety training.
Proficiency in operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers and excavators.
Work Environment
The role is based on-site, requiring a presence five days a week. The environment is fast-paced with high growth potential, particularly as the company expands its business model into new regions. The company is currently starting in Northern California and is forecasting growth into Southern California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
