Amazon Instock Planning Manager, eero in San Francisco, California

Description

The eero Instock Manager is a member of the supply chain team and works closely with both supply and demand planners to audit and implement continuous process improvements. You will leverage your knowledge of demand forecasting, supply planning, customer allocation methodologies, and will serve as a SME within forecasting and inventory management systems. This role will serve as a cross-functional project lead to advocate and implement tool enhancements. The ideal candidate obsesses over process efficiency and loves data analysis and building models that are flexible, scalable and precise.

Key job responsibilities

  • Demonstrated ability to build new processes and leverage ERP technology to streamline planning processes

  • Own ODM planning including SKU level forecasting, Factory Production Schedules, PO creation, customer allocation and maintaining in region weeks of supply.

  • Own accessories reorder point planning (ethernet cables, PSUs, stickers, shelves, ect).

  • Maintain and automate PO creation process for factory shipments and online retail allocation.

  • System SME between amazon and eero forecasting tools including NPI/EOS SKU management

  • Manage weekly on hand inventory reconciliation to feed channel level customer allocation tools.

  • Forecast inbound and outbound freight and coordinate with logistics on supply prioritization

  • Comfortable managing large sets of data and simplifying analysis into actionable allocation strategies.

  • Lead warehouse kitting projects to consume stranded inventory

  • Partner with the Refurbishment team to develop scalable processes that support a rapidly growing new business channel

  • Develop company wide inventory availability reporting by creating tools that combine dynamic sales forecasts, weeks of supply, and inbound supply ETAs to drive sales and operations allocation decisions.

  • Translate complex or ambiguous business problem statements into analysis requirements and create BRD/PRDs to drive systems changes and automate planning processes

  • Actively manage the timeline and deliverables of automation projects, focusing on cross-functional interactions. Effectively communicate roadblocks to stakeholders and propose solutions to deliver results.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of with Excel experience

  • 3+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience

  • Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma

  • Experience managing and executing large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem solving, and communicating recommendations

  • Experience working with complex data sets

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Anaplan system a plus

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $58,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
