Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant in the healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance industry, situated in San Francisco, California. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, where their responsibilities will include leave administration, benefits management, and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage leave cases and intermittent cases efficiently.

• Collaborate with external partners to process leave claims, update records, and manage leave pay components.

• Provide guidance to employees regarding leave policies, claim statuses, and vendor communications.

• Convert internal communications into tickets and centralize all leave-related requests.

• Generate reports each morning, answer employee tickets, and coordinate with the project management team.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company leave policies.

• Utilize data management tools to clean up and analyze leave data and trends.

• Work closely with HR Operations, Benefits, and Payroll departments to handle escalations efficiently. Requirements

• Proficiency in Workday

• Expertise in HRMS systems is necessary.

• About Time software proficiency is advantageous (JIRA).

• Ability to conduct thorough background checks is a key requirement.

• Knowledge and understanding of benefit functions in a healthcare environment is crucial.

• Excellent customer service skills are needed.

• Experience with leave administration is required.
