Exciting new contract opportunity with an established firm! Fully remote position.
This job is a 6-month contract role responsible for providing internal and executive communications thought partnership and execution support for client’s Executive Leadership Team in an effort to inform, engage and inspire our community of 4k employees to deliver on our enterprise strategy. This role will partner with our Manager of Executive and Internal Communications to provide executive and internal communications support for client’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President, as well as execution support for our People, Finance and Technology organizations.
Contract Duration: 6 - Months
Required Skills & Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging and tone for different audiences and senders
Ability to navigate between strategy and execution (can develop high-level strategic plans and also produce crisp, clear communications)
Broad knowledge and interest of recent industry best and emerging practices, including digital and social platforms to engage employees
Confirmed capability to work autonomously and exercise good judgment in fast-paced, dynamic environments, as well as the ability to escalate appropriately
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across the organization, understand their needs and provide communication solutions
Proficient in utilizing metrics and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication campaigns and make data-driven recommendations
Exceptional project and time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
The ability to carve a path forward in ambiguous situations
8+ years of relevant work experience
Bachelors degree
Additional Experience and Education
A Bachelors degree in Communications, Organizational Effectiveness, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business or related field
Insurance and/or health care experience preferred
Agency experience preferred
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
Assists in the execution of CEO and President communications platform, strategy and collateral
Coordinates strategy, content and production of key enterprise- and function-wide communications touchpoints, including all-employee Town Halls and functional All Hands (virtual, hybrid and/or in-person)
Helps craft internal communications strategies and materials for company-wide initiatives, such as our annual strategy rollout
Partners closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., People, Technology, Finance) to design targeted strategic communications programs to reach and engage their teams
Works closely with our Corporate Communications team to create and execute thought leadership content aligned with the President and executive leadership platform
Creates informative and engaging communications (e.g., key messages, all-employee communications, executive presentations, digital content and internal storytelling content) to support the organization's business and cultural priorities
